In June 2023, the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration posted a notice that requires all enterprises engaging in e-cigarette production activities in China to renew their tobacco monopoly licenses before they expire.
As an enterprise that always adheres to China‘s regulations of the tobacco industry and legally conducts e-cigarette production and business activities at home and abroad, HQD acted fast to prepare all required documents to apply after the notice had been released. We actively cooperated with relevant local authorities to conduct legitimate verifications, ensuring the license renewal processes were finished orderly.
Owing to tremendous efforts from the officials and our workers, HQD has successfully renewed the license, which shows both an indisputable recognition for the compliant management and brand strength of HQD over the years and a progressive tendency to the increasing legalization and standardization of the industry. The renewal of the license enables HQD once again to be a legal operator and an advocate of observing the tobacco regulations. This will make HQD embark on a new stage of development.
